Pixel 3 (XL) is late: Deadline for presentation of new Google phones leaked

Google introduces its new Pixel 3 smartphones in the fall. Many details about the new generation are already known - even the first videos haunt the Internet . What was missing so far: a precise performance date. Bloomberg wants to know that now.

Google Pixel 3 (XL): Launch of smartphones on October 9 possible

On October 9, 2018, Google is to introduce the Pixel 3 and the Pixel 3 XL at an event in New York, reports Bloomberg, citing insiders who should be familiar with the matter. This would be the first date that does not fit the last few years.

All previous Pixel smartphones were unveiled on October 4 in San Francisco. Google itself does not comment on the rumor so far. An appointment between 4 and 9 October seems very likely.

The anticipation of the event is likely to be limited, because almost all features, especially the XL model, are already known. Recently, even pre-production models have landed on the black market and have since appeared in videos and reports.

Google Pixel 3 (XL): Two front cameras, Notch and huge display

If Google does not radically change the design compared to the pre-production models, we expect above all a huge pixel 3 XL : 6.7 inches to measure the diagonal of the display. In front is a dual camera for "Super Selfies" and behind a 12 MP module sit. The OLED display has a notch at the top.
